The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) offers free admission on the first Wednesday night of every month, giving visitors the chance to explore its world-class collections without charge.
How to Attend:
Book in advance: Free General Admission tickets must be reserved online.
Ticket release: Tickets become available at 10:00 AM on the Monday before the first Wednesday of the month.
Limit: Maximum of 2 tickets per booking.
All visitors require a ticket, including children in strollers.
Valid email address required for booking.
Visitor Tips:
Dress for the weather: queues begin outside the AGO.
Pack light: coat check wait times may be longer than usual.
Oversized bags, backpacks, or totes must be left at coat check for a fee—bring only a small purse if possible.
