Nuit Blanche
Toronto 2025

Looking for free things to do in Toronto this fall? Nuit Blanche returns on October 4, 2025, transforming the city into a massive, all-night celebration of contemporary art. From sunset to sunrise, Toronto’s streets, parks, and cultural spaces will be filled with installations, performances, and interactive works by more than 85 local, national, and international artists.

This year’s theme, Translating the City, invites visitors to explore how art reimagines urban life — turning concrete and glass into canvases for light, sound, movement, and storytelling.

Where to Experience Nuit Blanche

Nuit Blanche takes place across three main exhibition areas:

  • Downtown Toronto – iconic public spaces and cultural hubs animated with large-scale installations.

  • Etobicoke – waterfront and west-end venues showcasing immersive, community-driven works.

  • North York – vibrant activations around Mel Lastman Square and cultural centres.

Festival Highlights

  • 🌙 Over 85 artworks spanning light installations, interactive popups, soundscapes, and performance art.

  • 🎶 Live music & performance throughout the night, from spontaneous shows to programmed stages.

  • 🛍 Art markets & popups featuring local creators and makers.

  • 🎨 Workshops and talks happening before and after the main event, offering insight into the creative process.
